Western religion is a tradition of JudeoChristian faith that is common in the Western World, especially in the domestic environment. Christianity

Marx was not an atheist but he was very materialistic and had strong views towards science. He also greatly admired scientific inquiry. This is how his atheism was expressed in his opposition towards religious belief.
Progressivism
Progressivism, in western religion, is an idea which aims to make the world a better one by eliminating old beliefs and replacing with newer ones. Rather than relying on divine revelation for guidance, this approach to religion relies on an attempt to correct what the past has taught and reshape the present. Progressivism rejects any notion of a soul, and seeks to replace this idea with an artificial, naturalistic reality. However, while Progressivism seeks to eliminate old beliefs and replace them with new ones, it also offers hope for society.
Progressives believe humankind is on "the right" side of history and can identify History's goals. They claim that progress is the result of changing human values. This ultimately leads to a reconstructed history free from religion and classes. Unfortunately, this view does not have any basis in empirical science. It is based upon an extravagantly religious and ideological outlook.
Eastern Orthodox Church
Some Westerners believe that the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church is a Western religious institution. They find this absurd. However, a recent incident has sparked concern. One priest of the Orthodox Church was temporarily suspended for wearing a cassock during a rally supporting Unite the Right in Washington, D.C. Other clergy have also posted political views on their blogs and on social media.
The Holy Trinity is central to Orthodox Christianity. It is a concept that transcends traditional Western religions. Orthodox Christians believe Christ suffered the death of a human being, was cast into Hell, then rose again to save sinners still trapped in Hell. In this way, he cleansed mankind from its guilt and extricated them from Hell.
