Parvati

Parvati, a Hindu god representing the feminine side of males, is named after Parvati. According to Hindu mythology Parvati is a god who was created when Shiva needed a wife to have children. They sought out a woman who could attract Shiva. This woman was black in complexion but beautiful.

Parvati is also believed to have been created when Shiva withdrew from society and turned into an ascetic. Shiva couldn't be distracted while the world was being terrorized and possessed by a woman demon. In order to tempt Shiva, Shakti, the goddess of love, assumed the disguise of Parvati (a beautiful goddess). Shiva was eventually won over, and the pair were married. According to the myths, Shiva and Parvati had a son that would defeat this demon.

Shiva

Shiva is a Hindu deity who is believed to be the husband and wife of Parvati, the goddess Shakti and the goddess Shiva. They are also said to have created the universe together and have children. Shiva has also undergone many incarnations and has become a god in his own right. Shiva, who is also known as Harihara, was created when he was combined with Parvati (the other god Vishnu) and Parvati (the elephant head).
